The Mazda CX-9 is an elegant crossover SUV made for families who appreciate a spacious and comfortable ride filled with amenities and top-tier features. That will continue as the new model year approaches, with updates being made to keep pushing the CX-9 forward into the future. What’s new on the 2021 Mazda CX-9? Let’s take a look at what we know about the 2021 Mazda CX-9 standard and available technology, among other updates.

Have you seen the new Mazda Carbon Edition models?

Infotainment updates
The 2021 Mazda CX-9 will now offer a new standard 10.25-inch center display with the latest generation MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system. This is the largest touchscreen display to ever be equipped on a CX-9. This new infotainment setup will offer Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ functionality, enabling you to synchronize your compatible phone to the CX-9 and use certain applications and functions. Mazda Connected Services capabilities are now standard with this system as well, including a three-year trial for monitoring and controlling certain aspects of the vehicle remotely through the MyMazda app, plus an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot with a three-month or 2GB trial.

Safety technology
In a seven-seat vehicle meant for families on the go, you need to be sure that safety is handled with the highest importance. The Mazda suite of i-ACTIVSENSE® safety technology is standard. That standard suite includes Mazda Radar Cruise Control with stop and go function, Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist, Smart Brake Support with Collision Warning, and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
